Hi our names are Natalie and Lorraine and we have been running our Caterpillar Music classes since September 2004. We have known each other for 35 years and since our teens decided that one day we would go into business together. That was why when we received the letter from Caterpillar Music about buying a franchise we did not hesitate. We were once customers ourselves and our children loved the classes. We both have young children at school and the class times fit in perfectly with our children being at school as well as not having to work in the school holidays although we do run classes in the Summer months and take our children along. They still love participating in the classes and know all the songs and actions. They have been a great sounding board to try out our ideas on and even volunteer songs that they have learnt at school and lend us their favourite toys to show at our classes.

We run the classes together and have done since we started out. We have many customers who have been coming to our classes since we began and are now bringing their second and third children along. We use a large amount of instruments, each child having plenty of handheld instruments to use and at least one large instrument i.e. drum, xylophone. We encourage the children to participate as much as possible on their own paying particular attention to improving their confidence. We put a lot of effort into our lesson plans, keeping them fresh and new with lots of exciting visuals and different songs.

Caterpillar Music Parties

Each party is full of fun activities and lasts one hour;

Caterpillar Music parties are suitable for babies and children aged 0 to 4yrs.

 A combination of simple party games, action songs, instruments and amazing puppets provide a special party where young children can join in as much as they want to...

 Each party has two members of the Caterpillar Music team for one hour, music, instruments and puppets for every child to use during the session, a pass the parcel game and a present for the birthday child!

In addition to our weekly classes we now provide sessions for Nurseries, Schools & Children’s Centres – please contact us for further details on how your group can enjoy Caterpillar Music!
